  1. Best wishes for a smooth transition from the Little Victorian to the Big Craftsman, and beyond.

    1. Thank you, Leena! We are so excited, and I’m so happy for him too!

  3. Congrats on the move! Love your house! You and Hubs did a wonderful job at making it your own. Can’t wait to see your next project!

  4. That is a big change! Congrats. I am excited to see inside your new house and watch your progress as you make it a home.

  6. Congratulations! A toast to Adventure!

  7. I think it looks great – fresh, clean, and updated. Hope your realtor is wrong and frankly, I think he/she should do a better job of marketing and not just telling you to be prepared for it to take awhile to sell.

Good luck! And looking forward to seeing your Craftsman (I love the Arts & Crafts Movement).

    1. Thank you! Much like the Victorian, pretty much the only Craftsman style that’s left of the house are the windows and interior doors, as it has been remodeled a few times through the years. I’ll introduce it soon! 🙂

Our town is pretty behind-the-times, and most still think McMansions are where it’s at. There is no problem selling one of those in just a few weeks here. Our realtor is doing a good job, there are lots of showings and open houses, but the Victorians have a lot of competition, most of which have been on the market for a year +.

  8. .Hi, I haven’t seen your blog for a few years but just found this again. There are no dates on your posts! I don’t know where you are now, where you live etc. have read quite a few posts but…..need dates!

  9. Thanks for coming back Lesley! And thank you for your comment too. We sold the Victorian about 5 years ago and moved to the midwest. We got an amazing score with a mid century modern that we restored as we could, and then sold that to move to New England where we currently have NO kitchen as we gutted it. 😀 With work I don’t have much time to blog anymore, but I always want to.
You can see the very latest posts if you go to the homepage (either click on “Home” or just type in littlevictorian.com).

Adding the dates back now. 🙂
