Thanks for coming back Lesley! And thank you for your comment too. We sold the Victorian about 5 years ago and moved to the midwest. We got an amazing score with a mid century modern that we restored as we could, and then sold that to move to New England where we currently have NO kitchen as we gutted it. 😀 With work I don’t have much time to blog anymore, but I always want to.

Thank you! Much like the Victorian, pretty much the only Craftsman style that’s left of the house are the windows and interior doors, as it has been remodeled a few times through the years. I’ll introduce it soon! 🙂

Our town is pretty behind-the-times, and most still think McMansions are where it’s at. There is no problem selling one of those in just a few weeks here. Our realtor is doing a good job, there are lots of showings and open houses, but the Victorians have a lot of competition, most of which have been on the market for a year +.

I think it looks great – fresh, clean, and updated. Hope your realtor is wrong and frankly, I think he/she should do a better job of marketing and not just telling you to be prepared for it to take awhile to sell.
