We had an absolutely wonderful trip over our anniversary, thank you all for your nice comments and congratulations!

We were planning on getting back to work on the house on Sunday, but I came home from our vacation with a sprained ankle and a bad cough and cold.  So not much has been accomplished here lately.

I went grocery shopping yesterday and re-injured my foot.  Guys, the holding still is driving me crazy.  I’m getting so restless.  I was trying to sit and catch up on an online class, but because of the cold, I can’t concentrate.  So I kept standing up to work on the dollhouse, which of course, only worked for about 5 minutes before the foot started hurting again.

I hate not blogging, especially when I said I was going to.  So, I was going to share one of the projects that I’ve finished, but haven’t blogged about yet, but my pictures are terrible.  Just can’t win this week!  🙂

These are all photos from our trip.  Obviously, we didn’t travel from Mexico to China to Paris, we were at Disney World.  It’s so much fun there.  And there are miniatures everywhere!

So many more miniatures than I got photos of.  Did you know Walt Disney had a miniatures hobby?

As soon as my foot heals up, I’ll be back to my own dollhouse, which I had made some good progress on before we left.  Please understand if posts here are sparse in the mean time!

  1. I did not know Disney world can look like that, but I certainly did know that the first picture does not look like Paris 🙂 I’ve been to Disney world as a kid, but cant even remember anything from there, I was three of four years old. I hope to go again and to the Harry Potter world next to it 😀
Hope your ankle heals soon and the cold passes.

    1. Yes! One of the parks there (EPCOT) has a world showcase, where they represent 11 different countries. It’s our favorite part of Disney World–it’s more geared towards older kids and adults. You should definitely try to make it back!

  2. So sorry to hear about your ankle. I broke a tiny bone in my foot once and was sidelined for about six weeks. It was awful. I was so antsy! Hope the cold goes away soon.

  3. I’m jealous! My H and I are headed back to Disney in November and I can’t wait. It looks like you had a wonderful time. I love all the minis there, too 🙂

    1. Yay! I’m going to be jealous of you in November. 😀 We were there the Thanksgiving before last, it is a great time to go too, great weather and smaller crowds.

  4. Oh Epcot Center- such fond memories. It looks like you had a blast, but sorry to hear about your ailments. Sounds like you need rest, rest, rest. (oh, and also ‘holding still’ for a while- sorry) Feel better soon!

  5. A sprained ankle is definitely long to heal… Please stay still and be a good girl!
