In reply to Leena. Thanks, Leena! I'd love for it to be painted, but the maintenance is too much for me. Still debating whether to stain it or let it turn gray. The layout was actually from how it was before, it might change a little. We just had a metal fire bowl, there were never any issues, but if we get another one, we'll put some stone pavers under it for extra protection.
