They actually came from a kit for another house. But they were really ugly, and really big, so I modified them.

Basically, all they are are triangles. I drilled a big hole in the end of each piece for the main pole. Then I drilled two tiny holes in the corners of each tread and slid in tiny dowels in the holes instead of using risers.

Guess that’s harder to explain than I thought…I’ll send you a picture. 🙂

Good point, Ginger, I will add some instructions for voting. I changed everyone’s pictures this morning to a current photo of their house.
